During my university studies, I conducted a sensitivity analysis of process parameters on plant efficiency in a coal-fired power plant and carbon capture process. I created simplified 3D models and developed material and energy balances for the major processes within the power plant and CO2 capture system. Additionally, I modeled the temperature profile in the boiler and developed Visual Basic (VB) software coding for a user-friendly interface. This project combined my skills in modeling, simulation, and coding to enhance our understanding of efficiency in power generation and carbon capture.
